While AlarmForce is one to revere when it comes to customer service in the alarm industry the fact they’re still using proprietary alarm equipment – equipment you can only use with them – keeps them from rising to the top. AlarmForce is a solid option if you don’t mind paying a little more up-front and having proprietary parts.

AlarmForce has been protecting home across North America for over twenty years and services more than 250,000 customers. The company is known for having affordable, live, two-way voice systems and AlarmPlus “line cut technology”. The Live Two Way Voice system allows customers to see and talk to a monitoring center representative when alarms go off – and also allows the AlarmForce monitoring center to view your home to see what is going on. AlarmForce boasts one of the more affordable monthly fees on the market, but their technology is lacking behind many other companies in the home security industry today. AlarmForce continues to bank on unreliable phone line technology, and instead of offering a cellular standard can provide its “line cut technology” to your alarm system for an additional monthly fee.
Compared to the other alarm companies on our list AlarmForce offers some outdated technology but still has some competetive up-front and monthly monitoring costs. Overall AlarmForce has provided quality alarm service to its customer base, but has some work to do with providing more up-to-date alarm technology.

Despite its outdated product offerings AlarmForce does not cut corners with its customers once they have their systems installed and activate alarm service. AlarmForce services customers in the United States and Canada and has proven to have a solid reputation for service throughout North America.

AlarmForce offers a basic alarm system for zero up-front cost and only $25 a month for basic alarm monitoring. This is extremely competitive when compared to many other companies, however you can get more for your money elsewhere. The basic system covers very little equipment, and additional alarm sensors have a hefty additional price, but special deal or discounts could keep your costs at a minimum.
AlarmForce provides a lifetime equipment warranty for its products and includes its two-way voice service with its basic monthly monitoring fee. Something many other companies charge extra for.
